Who’s Mat Jackson

I was born in London in 1962, and emigrated to Perth, Western Australia, in 1974. After high school I studied engineering for 18 months before switching to nursing, becoming a General, Paediatric and Mental Health Nurse. I then completed a bachelor’s degree in naturopathy at Southern Cross University in Lismore, NSW, in 2005.
I had to stop working in my early 30s due to failing health, and, not finding the answers I was seeking in orthodox medicine, I turned to alternative medicine. This led to my studying natural medicine, which in turn led to my researching and writing about my health issues.
